Welcome to the Rotaract Club of Osnabrück!

What is Rotaract?
Rotaract stands for “Rotary in Action”. It originally began as a Rotary International youth program in 1968 in North Carolina, USA. Since then Rotaract has grown into a major organization of over 9,500 clubs spread around the world. As a Rotaract member you can be part of a fun, dynamic and unique international organization for people aged 18-30, offering a wide range of activities that will enable you to try something new, whilst having a great time and meeting others.

We learn during meetings where we often listen to speeches by members or external speakers. Sometimes we also visit different companies in Osnabrück and learn about their history or we go to the theatre, a concert or a museum.

We help by raising awareness of diseases like polio or cystic fibrosis. We support people in need with care packages or food like we did for the “Kindertafel” or we are part of a worldwide fundraising activity like the “shelter box”.

We celebrate on occasions like a charter (birthday) of a club or party at various Rotaract events like the German conference that takes place in a different city each year. When we are calling for a “casual meeting” it´s probably going to be a fun night at a cocktail bar or elsewhere.
